About Us
Company History
IDS has been providing rapid, reliable immunoassay products for use in agriculture and veterinary markets since 1986. In the late 1980s, IDS began selling drug monitoring products to the horse and dog racing industry. In recent years, IDS expanded into the human forensics drug testing market, which today is IDS' primary business.
Sales and Technical Support
• Shawn Magsig – National Sales Manager. Shawn has over 14 years of experience with ELISA based test kits. Shawn’s experience includes sales and marketing, technical service, and quality control. Contact Shawn for North America.
• Ernie Lewis - Director of Technical Services and Operations. Ernie provides technical support for all IDS products. Contact Ernie if you require cross-reactivity information, questions on samples, or general product information.
• Ed Smith – ELISA Equipment & Software Specialist. Ed installs and trains customers on equipment acquired through IDS. In addition, Ed has written IDSoftware™ for case reporting results and database system maintenance. Contact Ed with equipment questions and for IT support.
Administrative Support and Distributor Relations
• Deborah Morris - President and Founder. Deborah has extensive experience in general management and marketing. In addition to being the Chief Executive Officer of IDS, Deborah is responsible for all distributor relations.
• Jeanne Strine – Director of Administrative and Accounting Services. Contact Jeanne to place an order, inquire about delivery or pricing, or to discuss specific shipping details or requirements.
Research and Development
• James Clarke, Ph.D. – Research Director. James oversees new product development, assay validation, and the IT department, which provides technical support.
• Steven Schadler, Ph.D.– Chief Chemist. Steve is responsible for developing chemistry methods for generating high quality antibodies and conjugates for IDS’ extensive line of products.
