(-)-DHMEQ (Dehydroxymethylepoxyquinomicin) is a potent, selective and irreversible NF-κB inhibitor that covalently binds to a cysteine residue. (-)-DHMEQ inhibits nuclear translocation of NF-κB and shows anti-inflammatory and anticancer activity[3].
